PressPayNg Awards Defence Headquarters.
PressPayNg has recently awarded the Nigerian Defense Headquarters as a “Platinum Funder” of the “Project Fund the Future” Tuition Scholarship Scheme. The award was presented by the Chief Executive Officer of PressPayNg in person of Mr. Abiola Metilelu to the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor.
The “Project Fund the Future” Tuition Scholarship Scheme is designed by PressPayNg to assist students in higher institutions such as Universities, Polytechnic, Monotechnic, Colleges of Education as well as School of Nursing in Nigeria who have difficulties in paying their Tuition fees.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students are all eligible to apply for this Scholarship which runs at least 3 times every year, and successful candidates get to enjoy the Scholarship for One Academic Year.
Gen. Irabo, while receiving the award expressed his excitement and appreciated PressPayNg for it’s passion and drive to assist Students in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria to achieve their Educational ambitions, as most of these student come from poor family backgrounds, and going to school is seen more like a privilege and not a right. Some of the Students even sponsor themselves through school by doing menial jobs, so most of the times paying their tuition can be a herculean task.
Furthermore, Gen. Irabo assured the brand that it would continue to do its best to support Nigerian students who are future leaders of tomorrow in achieving their Educational and Career goals.
