Campus Conversations invites passionate students across Nigerian tertiary institutions to step into leadership roles that matter. This is not just another campus programme; it is a platform to bridge cultures, build peace, and shape a generation of empathetic leaders.

- Engage in exciting virtual and in-person programmes with like-minded peers nationwide
Join Nigeria’s National Youth for Peace Movement
Campus Conversations is building a nationwide network of students committed to peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue. Through guided conversations and hands-on leadership experiences, participants learn how to address sensitive issues, manage differences, and foster understanding within diverse communities. This movement believes that peace is not passive; it is learned, practiced, and led.
Programme Highlights
The Campus Conversations experience is thoughtfully designed to combine learning, practice, and national impact:
1. Virtual Dialogue & Peacebuilding Programme
- Duration: 1 week
- Participants: 50 students
- A focused virtual experience introducing dialogue facilitation, peacebuilding principles, and intercultural understanding.
2. In-Person Peace Leadership Bootcamp
- Duration: 1 day
- Participants: 25 students
- An immersive leadership experience that deepens practical skills in collaboration, conflict resolution, and ethical leadership.
3. Campus Dialogue Hubs
- 6 hubs across Nigeria
- Selected participants will establish or join dialogue hubs on their campuses, creating safe spaces for ongoing conversations and community engagement.
4. National Student Peace Summit
- A national platform to showcase solutions, insights, and dialogue outcomes
- Students present what they have learned and the impact they have created within their communities.
Eligibility
Campus Conversations is open to:
- Youth and students in Nigerian tertiary institutions
- Individuals who are passionate about intercultural dialogue, leadership, and social impact
- Students eager to learn, listen, and lead with empathy
No prior peacebuilding experience is required; only commitment, curiosity, and a willingness to engage constructively with others.
