Prof. Femi Mimiko, mni, joins PressPayNg Advisory Board

The former Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, expressed his excitement about the brand. Profile of Prof. Femi Mimiko
Femi Mimiko, mni, is a Professor of Political Science at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations, from the same University. His research interest is in Comparative Political Economy, International Relations, Development and Transition Studies, Policy and Strategic Studies, and Higher Education Governance. Mimiko was at different times, SSRC-MacArthur Foundation Visiting Scholar; Korean Foundation Visiting Fellow; and Fulbright Scholar/Visiting Professor at the United States Military Academy (USMA), West Point, New York, USA. He is recipient, United States Military Academy Army Commander’s Public Service Award, 2004. One of his more recent books is “Getting Our Universities Back On Track: Reflections and Governance Paradigms From My Vice-Chancellorship,” Austin, TX: Pan-African University Press, 2017. Professor Mimiko served as the fourth Vice Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, from 2010 to 2015. He was a participant on Senior Executive Course (SEC) 37, 2015, of Nigeria’s most prestigious think-tank, the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru; and in 2016, was African and African-American Studies Associate, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA. A Delegate to the 2014 National Conference, Professor Mimiko is the Gbóbaníyì of Ondo Kingdom. He is the head of a lovely nuclear family.
