She Code Africa & Grow with Google Scholarship 2025
In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, She Code Africa, in partnership with Grow with Google and Coursera, is offering full scholarships to 200 African women through a 24-week intensive upskilling program.
This initiative is designed for women aged 20 to 35 who are eager to build or advance their careers in technology. Participants will receive free access to world-class training and certifications in high-demand fields such as Prompting Essentials, AI Essentials, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and E-commerce, IT Support, Project Management, and UX Design. The program aims to bridge the gender gap in tech by empowering women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive in the digital economy.
Benefits of the She Code Africa Grow with Google Scholarship
- This program is fully online and self-paced, offering participants access to top-quality learning resources and a vibrant community of women in tech across Africa.
- Participants will earn both a Coursera Career Certificate and a Certificate of Completion from She Code Africa.
Eligibility Requirements for the She Code Africa Grow with Google Scholarship
The program is designed exclusively for women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are passionate about building a career in technology.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be African girls or women, either residing in Africa or of African descent.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in developing technical and digital skills.
- Be willing to commit time to complete the online, self-paced learning modules and actively engage in the community throughout the program.
