The Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) My Adaptation Solution Video Competition 2025
The Youth Climate Adaptation Action Day, hosted by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) on October 12, is the world’s largest annual youth-led event focused on climate adaptation, spanning over 100 countries. This global competition highlights innovative solutions that tackle extreme heat, protect water resources, and strengthen communities against droughts and floods. It’s a platform for young minds to share impactful ideas that can transform how we live, farm, and build in a warming world.
Requirements:
- Are you between 18-35 years old and leading the fight against climate change?
- Have you developed an innovative and creative adaptation solution?
Criteria:
Winners will be selected through public voting via an online form. Results will be announced in September.
Submission Requirements:
As global temperatures rise, so must our innovation. Young people are invited to submit a one-minute video showcasing their adaptation solution aligned with national climate goals (NDCs). Entries should focus on the theme: “The heat is on, youth powering adaptation solutions” through Nature-based Solutions, Water, Education & Advocacy, or Climate-Resilient Agriculture.
