The UCL-GREAT Scholarships 2024
The UCL-GREAT Scholarships 2024 are jointly funded by UCL and the British Council to provide financial support to citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria.

Eligible programmes: Postgraduate taught
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria.
Candidates must have made an application to study a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25, and hold an offer of a place at UCL by the scholarship closing date of Tuesday 7th May 2024. Please note distance learning and mod flex courses are not eligible.
Value, benefits, and duration
- There are 4 scholarships available in 2024/25. 1 for Bangladesh, 1 for India, 1 for Malaysia and 1 for Nigeria
- The value of the scholarship is £10,000
- The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees
- Award recipients are obliged to inform the UCL Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their UCL Master’s degree studies, before or subsequent to the UCL – GREAT scholarship. The GREAT Scholarship must be used to pay your tuition fees.

Results
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted early/mid June to provide evidence of financial need. When this has been assessed, successful candidates will be informed at the beginning of July.
