UI (University of Ibadan) Admission List for 2025/2026 Now Available on JAMB CAPS

The University of Ibadan (UI) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the 2024/2025 admission screening exercise are advised to check the Provisional Admission List to confirm if they have been offered admission.

The admission list has been uploaded online through JAMB CAPS. Candidates are advised to follow the steps below to check their admission status.

How Candidates Can Check Admission on JAMB CAPS

  • Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard
  • Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
  • Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
  • Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if you have been offered admission.

If you have been offered admission, your photo and a congratulatory message will be displayed on the screen. However, if you have not yet been offered admission, you will see a message that reads: Sorry, no admission has been given yet.

If you have been offered admission, you can either Accept or Reject the offer. To do this, send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

Candidates are given 4 weeks to accept their admission offer. If you no longer have access to your registered phone number, you will need to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.

After accepting the offer, candidates are advised to print their admission letter, as it will be required during clearance and registration at their respective schools.

Important Note for Mobile Users: If you are checking on a phone, you may not see the full “Admission Status” option on CAPS. Instead, you might only see the welcome message. To view the complete page, use the Chrome browser and switch to desktop site under the Chrome options menu.
