UNILAG Lecturer Wins £5000 Research Grant.

Professor Adepeju Layiwola Of The Department Of Creative Arts, Faculty Of Arts Has Won Research Grant From The Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Art Cultural Exchange Programme For A Project Titled “Telling Textile Tales”

The grant is part of the support programme to cultural institutions, artists, festivals and creative works between the Sub-Saharan African region and the United Kingdom.

The project, is intended to capture the various knowledge areas surrounding the art of textiles and the complexities surrounding its practice in Lagos.

The grant is valid for a duration of one-year with a value of Five Thousand Pounds (£5,000) for first payment.
