University of Alberta Entrance Scholarship 2025 in Canada
All international students are invited to apply for the University of Alberta Entrance Scholarship for an opportunity to study in Canada.
The University of Alberta Scholarship aims to provide funding and support for newly admitted graduate students whose admissions were highly ranked by their Department.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a newly admitted student in one of the school’s master’s or doctoral programs
- Open to domestic and international students
- Open to course-based or thesis-based students
- Must have an Admission GPA of 3.7 or higher
- Must be full-time registered during the tenure of the award
- The tenure of this award is September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026 regardless of the admit term of the student
- The following admission terms are eligible: January 2025, May 2025, July 2025, and September 2026
Benefits:
- Stipend Value: $17,500 Master’s; $21,000 Doctoral. Students must have a Canadian bank account and Canadian address to receive the award.
- Tuition and Fees: Domestic students will receive an additional $7,100, and international students will receive an additional $10,000 to help cover fees.
- The funds will be applied directly to students’ tuition and fees account.
