Inetimi ‘Timaya’ Odon Inetimi Alfred professionally known as Timaya born 15th August,1980 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Timaya is a Singer and a songwriter.
He attended the Assemblies of God Nursery And Primary School. After his primary school, he got admitted into secondary school at Nkpolu Oroworukwo in Port Harcourt, and then moved to Lagos State to complete his education at the Ikeja Grammar School, he returned to Port Harcourt to study Banking and Finance but dropped out after first semester, because of his poor results.
His music career kick started from there and he eventually came into limelight.
Timaya was appointed a Peace Ambassador by the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP).
