Afro-Tech Girls/IHS Towers Scrum Training aims to provide selected participants with a foundational skill set in scrum and outstanding candidates will stand a chance to get a scholarship towards a global certification examination.
Afro-Tech Girls, a Nigerian non-profit organization founded in 2015 to increase participation of girls and young women in STEM, has partnered with IHS Nigeria to provide 4-week scrum training to recent female Nigerian graduates at no cost to selected participants.
Requirements:
To be considered for the Afro-Tech Girls/IHS Towers Scrum Training:
- Must be a recent graduate
- Must have a functional laptop
- Must commit to completing the 4 week training including projects
- Must be self-starter, eager to learn and possess grit
Reward
The training program is entirely conducted remotely and is designed with beginners in mind. Its primary goal is to equip chosen individuals for an international certification exam.

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Statement of Result or Transcript or Certificate.
- An essay describing how the Scrum training help you achieve your career goals (150 words Max)
- An essay discussing why you should be selected for the Scrum training (150 Words Max)
