Amadeus University set to boost entrepreneurship education

Founders of Amadeus University says the university is focusing on entrepreneurship education, innovations and social impact with it’s newly acquired National Universities Commission (NUC) licence.

According to Godwin Nwabunka, a development economist and chairman of the Board of Trustees of Grooming Centre, founders of the University, the establishment of Amadeus University, Amizi, Abia State, is a response to the growing need for expanded access to higher education in the country.

In his words, “It is a testament to our commitment to building capacity, providing opportunities as we do at Grooming Centre, and promoting entrepreneurship to reap the dividends of
Nigeria’s young demographic

“Our university will provide a distinct educational experience while fostering innovation, research, and sustainable outcomes.”

Akaneren Essien, chairman of the university’s planning and implementation committee pledged that the tetiary institution, when fully functional, will produce globally competitive graduates who will drive socioeconomic development with meaningful results.

He urged prospective students and parents to visit the university site; amadeus.edu.ng.
