KAIST University Scholarship aims to contribute to advanced science and technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship of International students.
The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology is offering Fully Funded Scholarship to pursue a degree of Master’s or Doctoral (PhD) in South Korea. Students who want to study free in Korea are encouraged to apply for the award.

Details:
A wide array of academic disciplines and majors are open for pursuing Master’s or PhD degrees at KAIST University. The scholarship encompasses all necessary expenses for the duration of your degree program. The Master’s program scholarship lasts for 2 years, while the PhD program scholarship extends to 4 years, tailored to the specific degree requirements.
Requirements:
- All international students not holding Korean nationality are eligible to apply.
- For the master’s degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2024.
- For the doctoral degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2024.
Duration and Reward
- Total Tuition Fee Exemption for 4 semesters for Master’s degree candidates, 10 for Master’s-Ph.D. integrated degree candidates and 8 semesters for Ph.D. degree candidates.
- Monthly Stipend Guarantee: KRW 350,000 for Master’s programs and KRW 400,000 for Ph.D. programs
