Tahir Mamman SAN OON born 7 July 1954 in Adamawa State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian lawyer, a Professor and Academic.
He holds a LL.B degree at the Ahmadu Bello University in 1983 and call to the bar in the Nigerian Law School in 1984. He earned his master’s from the University of Warwick England in 1987 and his PhD in 1990 University of Warwick, Warwickshire England.
He was appointed minister of Education by President Bola Tinubu on 16 August 2023.
