Omoni Oboli born 22 April 1978 in Benin City, Edo, Nigeria. She is an actress, scriptwriter, and producer.
Omoni Oboli attended primary and secondary education at the Delta Steel Company primary school and the Delta Steel Company Technical high school. She, later on, joined the University of Benin and graduated with a degree in foreign languages, majoring in French. Omoni also has a certificate in digital film making from the New York Film Academy.
She made her acting debut in 1996 when she appeared in the film Bitter Encounter. Her acting skills paved the way for her in the film industry. So she began playing lead roles in various movies. After acting for a while, the actress took a break to further her studies. She returned to the Nigerian film industry as part of the cast of the 2009 film, Entanglement. That same year, she also played a major role in Kunle Afolayan’s award-winning film, The Figurine. From 2009 to date, she has produced and co-produced many movies. Her top productions include Wives on Strike, The Rivals and many more.
