Florence Otedola famously known as DJ Cuppy born on the 11th of November, 1992 in Lagos Nigeria. She is a DJ, music producer, vocalist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
She attended Grange School, Ikeja. At age 13, she was sent to a boarding school in the United Kingdom (UK) to complete her education at the Secondary School level and obtained her GCSEs and A-Levels certificates.
DJ cuppy bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from King’s College, London, in 2014. She has a Master’s degree in the music business from New York City in 2015, and as of 2022, she’s running a Master’s program in African Studies at Oxford University, England.
Her walk to music started in 2013, at 18 years of age. She picked an interest in Disc Jockey and watched world-rated DJs perform. She started her first business at the age of 22.
DJ cuppy was a DJ at the MTV Africa music award and since then, had performed on many special occasions, such as President Buhari’s inauguration in 2015.
Cuppy officially launched her music career in Nigeria in 2013. Florence was already one of Africa’s top-rated DJs when she won the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2014 at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC Arena).
