Applications are welcomed from young South African graduates in Engineering and other fields for the Volkswagen Graduate Training Program 2024 focused on accelerating the learning experience of graduates in the working environment to meet the full potentials.
The program is a permanent employment opportunity underpinned by a year of skills and expertise training whilst performing a full time role in one of Volkswagen Divisions. The program aims to develop high potential individuals into leaders of the future.

The program offers graduates a fully rounded experience of Volkswagen business including mentorship, coaching and on the job training all whilst earning competitive salary and enjoying comprehensive range of benefits, including a company car. Applicants should display a broad range of interests and the future of the Auto Industry i.e. Electric Vehicles and have an overall aggregate of 65% in their academic results.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Graduate Training Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering for those applying for the ‘Engineering category’.
- Applicants applying for the ‘General category’ must have obtained a national diploma, B-Tech, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Marketing, Public Relations, Information Technology, Data Science/Computer Science, Public Management & Administration, Finance, Logistics.
- Applicants must display interest in the Automobile industry.
- Applicants need to have completed at least their undergraduate degree or degree equivalent by the end of 2023.
