Benefits:
For Bachelor Applicants:
- HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 awarded in the 1st and 2nd semesters, then €2,500 annually for the next three years, contingent upon earning 45 credits each year.
- Honors Scholarship: Automatically granted to students excelling academically in their first year. €2,500 awarded in the 2nd year and subsequently each year, provided 45 credits are earned annually. Eligible students include those fulfilling minor requirements and those not receiving a HAN Holland scholarship.
For Master’s Degree Applicants:
- HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 disbursed in the first and second semesters, totaling €5,000.
- Honors Scholarship: Automatically awarded to outstanding students in the first year. This one-time payment of €2,500 is provided in the second semester. Eligible students are those who did not receive a HAN Holland scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be nationals of a country outside the EU/EEA.
- Applicants must not have previously enrolled in a degree program at a university or applied sciences university in the Netherlands.
- Provide evidence of enrollment into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN University of Applied Sciences.
- Demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of 90, or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).
Required Documents:
- Motivation letter: Explaining why you would be a successful HAN student.
- A short video: A 3-minute video of yourself, describing yourself and the things you excel in, what your former teachers or your friends would say about you, your chosen course of study at HAN, your career ambitions, and where you think you will be 10 years from now.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed account of your education, work experience, and achievements.
How to Apply?
- Review Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements, including nationality, prior enrollment, admission into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN, and English proficiency.
- Apply for a degree program at HAN: Make sure you get accepted before the relevant date. Keep in mind that diplomas and certificates have to be evaluated, so apply well in time.
- Gather Required Documents: Collect necessary documents such as proof of nationality, educational transcripts, admission letter, and English proficiency test scores.
- Prepare Additional Materials: Create a motivational letter explaining why you’ll be a successful HAN student, a short video addressing specific prompts, and an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Submit Application: Send your application along with all required documents and additional materials by the specified deadline. Follow the application instructions provided by HAN University.
- Wait for Notification: After submitting your application, wait for notification from HAN University regarding the status of your application and any further steps.
