2024 KAIST University Graduate Scholarship For International Students (Fully Funded)
KAIST University Graduate Scholarship aims to contribute to advanced science and technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship of International students.
The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology is offering fully funded scholarships that cover tuition, airfare, and monthly living expenses to pursue a degree of Master’s or Doctoral (PhD) in South Korea. Students who want to study free in Korea are encouraged to apply for the award.
Requirements:
- All international students not holding Korean nationality are eligible to apply.
- For the master’s degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2025.
- For the doctoral degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2025.
- Final-year Undergraduate students can also apply if they expect to graduate before September 2025.
Duration and Reward
- Total Tuition Fee Exemption for 4 semesters for Master’s degree candidates, 10 for Master’s-Ph.D. integrated degree candidates and 8 for Ph.D. degree candidates.
- Monthly Stipend (Up to 2,500,000 KRW): Students will cover the cost of Accommodation and other Expenses from the Stipend.
- National Health Insurance Premium
- Opportunity to engage in part-time jobs for additional income. fun, and time passes.

- English Proficiency Document
- Citizens of the English native speaking countries or officially English speaking countries are exempt from the English Proficiency Test.
- Those who completed their bachelor’s or masters in English native speaking countries are also exempt from the English Proficiency Test report.
- National Identity document of both parents.
