The University of Glasgow African Excellence Scholarship aims to support high-achieving students from across Africa in their journey to become Future World Changers.
The University of Glasgow African Excellence Award offers a full tuition fee waiver for outstanding candidates from Africa
The African Excellence Award at the University of Glasgow is for students who wish to undertake Masters level study, to further develop their knowledge and skills, in order to positively contribute to their community in the future.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honours;
- Have International fee status;
- Be domiciled in Africa;
- Be able to demonstrate a clear career and/or development plan that will be supported by Masters level study (via application form);
- Be able to provide evidence of meeting the UKVI maintenance/living costs by 30th June 2025 (only required if offered scholarship following successful interview).
- Be a student, alumni or member of staff at one of the University partners in Africa.
