Applications are now open for the 2026 LONG Young Achievers Scholarship for Secondary School Students.

The LONG Young Achievers Scholarship is an initiative aimed at easing the financial burden on families while empowering bright and deserving students to continue their education without interruption. The programme provides financial support to students from low-income households who are currently enrolled in private junior or senior secondary schools across Nigeria.

Benefits of the LONG Empowerment Foundation Young Achievers Scholarship

Successful applicants will receive financial support of up to ₦240,000 per academic year to cover tuition fees, administrative charges, and other approved school-related expenses. The scholarship is renewable each academic year, subject to the recipient maintaining strong academic performance and meeting the programme’s eligibility requirements.

Beyond tuition support, beneficiaries will also receive sponsorship for key external examination registrations, including WAEC, JAMB, and JSCE, helping to reduce the financial burden on students and their families while ensuring they are well-prepared for important academic milestones.

Eligibility Requirements for the LONG Empowerment Foundation Young Achievers Scholarship

To be eligible for the LONG Empowerment Foundation Young Achievers Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be between 10 and 17 years old.
• Be currently enrolled in a private junior or senior secondary school in Nigeria.
• Come from a household with an annual income below ₦1,500,000.
• Have the application completed and submitted by a parent, guardian, or older sibling on the student’s behalf.
• Provide the required supporting documents, including proof of school enrolment, academic records, and evidence of financial need.
• Submit the application at no cost, as the scholarship application process is completely free.
