The Leadership Accelerator Programme is a professional development initiative focused on reducing the gender gap in leadership across Africa. Designed for high-potential young African women working in corporate environments, the programme provides the skills, competencies, and strategic insight required to advance into leadership roles.

Programme Phases
1. Free Online Course
Participants begin with a self-paced online course comprising 10 concise modules, completed within three weeks. The curriculum addresses critical workplace challenges affecting women’s professional advancement. The course content was developed following a needs assessment conducted by the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Team, drawing insights from over 200 respondents.
2. One-Week Paid Intensive Bootcamp
Eligible participants who complete the online course within the stipulated timeframe will advance to a one-week in-person bootcamp. This immersive experience targets women aged 23–35 who are actively seeking career progression and leadership opportunities within their organizations or sectors.
3. Capstone Projects
After the bootcamp, participants will implement a capstone project aligned with their leadership goals. The project demonstrates practical application of the knowledge and skills gained during the programme. Selected projects will be showcased across LEAP Leadership Institute platforms to inspire broader participation and replication among female professionals.
4. Three-Month Intensive Mentorship
Participants will be matched with mentors based on their identified development needs. The mentorship spans three months, with one or two sessions per month as mutually agreed. Discussions will cover leadership development, career advancement, and personal growth, supported by monthly check-ins to track progress and outcomes.

- Open to young African women between the ages of 23 and 35.
