Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled as graduate or undergraduate students
- Utilize the NIMS Researcher Search Site “SAMURAI” to find aligned researchers
- Send NIMS Internship Application Form, CV, certificate of enrollment, and academic transcript directly to the chosen researcher
- The researcher forwards the approved application to the NIMS office for final processing

How to Apply?
- Research Alignment: Begin by exploring the NIMS Researcher Search Site “SAMURAI” to find researchers whose work aligns with your interests and expertise.
- Contact Researcher: Reach out directly to the chosen researcher(s) to express your interest in the internship program and inquire about available opportunities.
- Prepare Documents: Gather all required documents, including the NIMS Internship Program Application Form (in English), Curriculum Vitae (CV), educational certificates, and transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate for doctoral and master’s students).
- Submit Application: Send your completed application package directly to the researcher(s) you’ve contacted. Ensure that all required documents are included and follow any specific instructions provided by the researcher.
- Final Processing: Once your application is approved by the researcher, they will forward it to the NIMS office for final processing. Await further communication regarding the status of your application.
