The United Nations Traineeship Program offers a monthly stipend of €964 in Geneva for international students and recent graduates to gain Professional experience and enhance their Knowledge about the United Nations system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background: Enrolled in or recent graduate (within 2 years) of a relevant degree (Communication, PR, Graphic Design, Video Production/Editing, Marketing, International Relations, or related).
- Basic Computer Proficiency: Proficient in basic computer applications (online tools, word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, internet).
- Problem Solver: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective Communicator: Has strong communication skills.
- Storytelling Advantage: A strong sense of storytelling is a plus.
Benefits:
Trainees will receive a Monthly lump sum of 900 CHF (964 Euros) as of 25th May 2025.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop External Communications: Support the creation of brochures, ads, email campaigns, web design, and videos.
- Maintain Web Presence: Keep landing pages and website content updated and engaging.
- Manage Content Flow: Oversee the review and submission of news and activity summaries.
- Plan Communications: Develop schedules to promote training, events, and initiatives.
- Conduct Promotional Research: Identify outreach opportunities in specific areas.
- Manage Audience Engagement: Find and coordinate participation in events like student fairs, including budget and materials.
- Engage Alumni: Monitor the LinkedIn group and draft content for various platforms.
- Edit and Subtitle Videos: Prepare videos for UNITAR’s online channels using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Canva.
- Create Visual Assets: Take photos and shoot short videos at events.
- Handle Mass Mailings: Manage email communications using Mailjet.
