TETFund provides N15bn for projects in ATBU

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has provided the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi State with N15billion for projects in the last 10 years.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Ahmed Abdulaziz, said this during an interview on Thursday 10th 2022. Prof. Abdulaziz mentioned that some of the projects sponsored by TETFund includes: Central Laboratory Block; College of Medicine (Phase II); Clinical Complex, College of Medicine, ATBU Teaching Hospital; and Centre for Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship Development.

Prof. Abdulaziz said due to the availability of more structures that are capable of accommodating large number of students, the university took the initiative to introduce additional courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

He emphasized on the fact that the university has ZERO TOLERANCE for corrupt tendencies such as examination malpractice and cultism or whatever form of corruption it might be.

Prof. Abdulaziz finally praised TETFUND and the Federal Government for providing adequate funds to carry out the projects. He pointed out that without their support, all Nigerian universities would have collapsed.
