AAU Medicine Students charged to build abandoned University Hostels.

The Government of Edo state has charged Medicine Students of Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma to pay a sum of #50,000 each for the completion of one of the abandoned University hostels.

The Provost of College, Prof. Iyalomhe made the announcement via a memo that was pasted on the notice board, urging all parents and guardians to pay up as the building is expected to be completed and inspected the end of March. The Provost also said the University management and the state Government lacked funds to complete the building projects.

Internal Memorandum to students

Recall that medical students pay the sum of #197,000 per session as tuition-fee, #60,000 as dues, and others every year, and the school is said to have over 400 in 100L, 300L in 200L, and other numbers from 300L and above. Sequel to this new development, the Provost said the yearly consultative dues of Ten thousand Naira will be waived for all Medicine students for the 2021/2022 academic session.
