ASUU meets NITDA over UTAS integrity Test.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), met with the management of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) by 2p.m yesterday (Monday) over the disposition of the University Transparency Accountability System (UTAS) for the Payment of university lecturers.

The National President of the union, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, revealed this in an interview with news correspondents in Abuja.

Recall that Mr. Inuwa made this information known during a press briefing with state house correspondents last week. According to him, UTAS failed the integrity test. reacting to his statement in a press release on Sunday, ASUU accused NITDA Director and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami of intentionally declaring UTAS as unfit payment platform for personal reason.

However, ASUU met with NITDA team and details of the meeting will be released soon.
