Ayo Richard Makun popularly known as AY was born on the 19th of August, 1971. He hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State. Though originally from Ondo State, AY grew up in Warri, Delta State and Lagos, Nigeria. Ayo Makun is the oldest male child from a family of Seven.
AY is a Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and TV presenter, writer, producer and movie director.
On completing his primary and secondary education, Ayo Makun gained admission to study Theatre Arts at Delta State University Abraka (Delsu), he graduated in 2003.
While in school, A.Y won other awards such as the most fashionable student on campus (1999 and 2000); best show-biz promoter (2001); the most celebrated student on campus.
