Eligibility Requirements for the Heirs Insurance Annual Essay Championship
To participate in the Heirs Insurance Annual Essay Championship, applicants must meet the following requirement:
- Be a student currently enrolled in Junior Secondary School (JSS1, JSS2, or JSS3) in any recognized public or private school within Nigeria.
The competition is open to eligible students from all states across the country, providing young learners with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, writing skills, critical thinking abilities, and academic potential on a national platform.
Participation Details
Participants are required to submit an original essay of no more than 500 words, typed in a Microsoft Word document format only. Each essay must clearly state the student’s full name, school, and class, and the document should be saved using the student’s full name as the file name. Applicants are encouraged to submit their entries early, as the application deadline is July 8, 2026. Please note that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate, rewrite, expand, or significantly assist in the creation of any part of the essay is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification. In addition, all participants must upload a recent passport photograph and a valid form of identification when completing their application.
