Applications are open for international students for the Amsterdam merit scholarship 2023-24. Fully funded scholarships are offered for students from non-EU countries to pursue a master’s degree program at the University of Amsterdam.

The following advantages are given to the laureate of the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship:

  • The scholarship amount might range from €2,000 to €25,000, depending on the faculty.
  • The Holland Government Scholarship, of which the University of Amsterdam is a participating member, may occasionally be used in addition to the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.
  • It is a fully-funded merit-based scholarship.
  • The scholarship will cover the tuition fee of the degree program.
  • A part of the living expense will also be covered.
  • The Amsterdam merit scholarship is offered for one year and can be extended for the second year of the master’s program.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates’ CGPA aggregates should be 3.5 or high
  • Applicants must have a bright background in academics
  • Applicants must have good bands in IELTS/ TOEFL
  • Applicants should not be citizens of the European Union
  • Applicants must have a maximum of three years older degree
  • While scholarships are purely on a merit basis, applicants with an outstanding record in all fields are eligible to apply.
